The first eyes cast down longform piece grew from a desire for a much-less-is-much-more minimal vibe, and the guitar parts emerged almost too easily as a fully-formed idea. Recording was unusually painless as well, as the gods really ruled in our favor. Post-production tweaks took longer, as the piece slowly settled into its proper shape.

The guitars are all EBowed, one of them played with a slide as well.

I'm delighted to join the rank of artists whose albums are graced by Kati Astraeir's righteous artwork, fulfilling another long-held dream. The album dedication only begins to speak to this. Thank you, dear sister!
